ဒီလဟာ ဇူလိုင္လေလးပါ၊ ဒီလေလးဟာ ျမန္မာ့သမိုင္းမွာ ဘယ္လိုမွ ေမ့မရခဲ့တဲ့ ၊ ေဖ်ာက္ဖ်က္လို႔ မရေသးတဲ့ သမိုင္းေက်ာက္တိုင္ ေတြရွိခဲ့တယ္ ဒီလေလးကို ညစ္ပတ္တဲ့ မ်ိဳးမစစ္ေတြရဲ ႔ လက္မ်ားနဲ႔ ေသြးစြန္းေစခဲ့တယ္၊ အာဇာနည္ေတြ အတုန္းတုန္းလဲ ခဲ့တာလည္း ဒီလေလးပါပဲ၊ သမဂၢ အေဆာက္အဦးကို ေျခဖ်က္ခဲ့တာလည္း ဒီလေလးမွာပဲ ….

အေဖက က်ေနာ္တို႔ ငယ္ငယ္ေလးတုန္းက မၾကာခနေျပာျပခဲ့ဘူးတယ္ အတိတ္က ေက်ာင္းသားအေရးအခင္း ေတြအေၾကာင္းေလ၊ ထိုအထဲမွ 7 ဇူလိုင္လဲ တခုအပါအ၀င္ေပါ့၊ “7 ဇူလိုင္ မေမ့ႏိုင္” တဲ့ က်ေနာ္ ငယ္ငယ္တုန္းက ၾကားခဲ့ဘူးတယ္ ….. ဘာျဖစ္လို႔ မေမ့ႏိုင္ဘူးဆိုတာလည္း စဥ္းစားမိခဲ့တယ္၊ က်ေနာ္ ကိုယ္တိုင္ မပါ၀င္ခဲ့ဖူးတာလည္းျဖစ္ႏိုင္တယ္၊ မျမင္ေတြ႔ခဲ့ ဖူးတာလည္း ျဖစ္ႏိုင္တယ္၊ ဘယ္လိုလုပ္ ခံစား ႏိုင္မလဲေပါ့ေနာ္ … ေနာက္ၿပီး ၇ ဇူလိုင္ဟာ စာေတြ႔နဲ႔၊ အၾကားအျမင္သာျဖစ္ခဲဲ့ရတယ္ ….. ခံစားတတ္သြားခဲ့့တာက ၈၈ မွာပါ … မိမိကိုယ္တိုင္ ခေလးဘ၀ နဲ႔ အသက္ေဘးေတြက ေရွာင္ေျပးခဲ့ရေတာ့ ဟိုတခ်ိန္က ၇ ဇူလိုင္ကို ျမက္၀ါးထင္ထင္ျမင္ေယာင္ၿပီး ႏွလံုးသားနဲ႔ပါ ခံစားတတ္သြားတယ္၊ ဒါနဲ႔ပဲ အေဖေျပာျပဖူးခဲ့့တဲ့ 7 ဇူလိုင္ အေၾကာင္းေတြကို က်ေနာ္စဥ္းစားရင္း ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံက ေက်ာင္းသားေခါင္းေဆာင္ ေတြ အေၾကာင္းကုိ စဥ္းစားေနမိတယ္ … က်ေနာ္ရဲ ႔ အေလးစားအပ္ဆံုး လူသားေတြကေတာ့ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံက ၈၈ ေက်ာင္းသား ေခါင္းေဆာင္မ်ားပါပဲ၊ ဒီလိုနဲ႔ပဲ အင္တာနက္ စာမ်က္ႏွာမ်ားကို လိုက္လံေဖြရွာ ဖတ္မိေနခဲ့တယ္၊ ကိုမင္းကိုႏိုင္၊ ဦးကိုကိုႀကီး၊ ကိုေဌးၾကြယ္၊ အစရွိတဲ့ ရဲစြမ္းသတၱိရွင္ေတြရဲ ႔ အေၾကာင္းေတြေပါ့ … ဟိုဟို ဒီဒီ လိုက္ဖတ္ရင္း အထက္ကေခါင္းစဥ္တပ္ထားတဲ့ အေၾကာင္းအရာပါ “ကိုျမေအး“ အေၾကာင္းေတြစီ ေရာက္သြားတယ္ ….

My Father A Political Prisoner.My father is in Prison in Burma because he campaigns for freedom and democracy in my country. His name is Mya Aye and he is one of the leaders of 88-generation students group. The 88-generation students group is not a political party but rather a movement of students who campaigned against the Burmese regime in 1988. They led an uprising which was brutally crushed by the regime – we will never know how many people died but it is estimated to be over 3,000 people. My father believes in human rights and freedom. He believes that every single person should have rights and freedom to do what they believe in. he has been speaking out for freedom in Burma for more than 20 years now.For speaking out against the regime he was arrested. A few months ago the regime gave him a 65 year sentence. He has been sent to Loikaw prison, which is more than 500 miles away from our hometown, Rangoon. Next Tuesday, March 10th will be my fathers 43rd birthday. It makes me so sad that the Burmese regime will make him spend his birthday in prison without his families or friends.My father is also very ill. He has a heart problem and had a heart attack two years ago. Because of poor prison conditions (the regime only gives him only very poor quality food and no medicine) his health is becoming worse. I think the Burmese regime want him to die in prison.I am 20 years old but throughout my whole life I have only been able to spend 9 years with my father. I want to see my daddy again and have a cuddle from him again. But my hope and faith are becoming weak. Every night, I have nightmares that I will never see my father again.
